One week before the verdict against Maja – solidarity with Maja and all accused antifascists!
On 22 January 2026, the verdict is expected in Budapest in the trial against the accused antifascists. One week earlier, on 15 January 2026, we are calling for nationwide and Europe-wide actions in front of Hungarian embassies and consulates.
Maja has been imprisoned in Hungary for over 530 days and is being prosecuted in a political show trial that began even before their imprisonment. Hungary is known for systematic rule-of-law deficits, constitutional deficits, and inhumane prison conditions. In letters, Maja reported long-term solitary confinement and isolation, constant surveillance, hardly any social contact, inadequate hygiene, and restricted medical care. That Maja was extradited there is a scandal.
The upcoming verdict is a turning point – not only for Maja; it can form the legal basis for further extraditions to Hungary.
That’s why: join our action day for Maja’s immediate transfer back and freedom for all accused antifascists. Let’s bring this demand back into the public eye and onto the streets. Help us rebuild pressure on the responsible politicians, organize protest, and show the accused your solidarity. We won’t stop!
To help you with your projects, you will find templates for posters and flyers attached. You can have these professionally printed or print them yourself.
Let’s fight together to bring Maja back home!
